Pretoria, South Africa – Foton South Africa is showcasing South Africa’s biggest model range of light commercial vehicles at this year’s NAMPO Harvest Day, one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere. Dominating the brand’s presence this year is the introduction of the Foton Miler Lite, a new Code 8 light commercial vehicle designed to unlock greater accessibility and efficiency for South African businesses.

Positioned as one of the largest dropside trucks in the Code 8 category, the Miler Lite delivers increased practicality and load-carrying capability, making it well-suited to industries such as agriculture, construction, and last-mile logistics where versatility and efficiency are essential.

Safety Designed for Business

Safety has been a central focus in the development of the Miler Lite, with features including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), daytime running lights, fog lights, and, on selected models, dual airbags. These features contribute to its positioning as the safest dropside truck in its segment, offering enhanced protection for drivers and supporting safer operations in working environments.
